Cabins

Check-in time is 3 pm. Check-out time is 12 noon.

No, you cannot check-out late.

Each Rustic Cabin has 2 twin beds (bunk beds), 2 full beds (bunk beds), a table with built-in bench seating, air conditioning, heater, overhead lighting, 1 electrical outlet, an outdoor charcoal grill, outdoor picnic table, and outdoor fire pit. Bring your own pillows and linens.

The Comfy Cottage has a first bedroom with 1 Queen bed, a second bedroom with 4 double beds (2 sets of bunk beds), full bathroom with shower, dining/living area with TV and DVD player, kitchenette (with full refrigerator, sink, 2 stove top burners, sink, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, dishes, cookware and utensils), heat and air conditioning, and a private outdoor patio area with fire pit, table and chairs.

No. Cabins are available from the beginning of April through the end of October.

Camping

Check-in and check-out for campsites is 12 noon.

No, you cannot check-out late.

Each campsite may have 1 tent for up to 2 adults and 3 children.

No, campsites with an RV may not have a tent.

No, generators are not allowed.

There is a limit of 2 vehicles per site. Extra vehicles must register at the office and park in the overflow lot. Do not park on other sites.

No, the campground is closed in the winter. We close on November 1st and reopen on April 1st.

Pets

Yes. However, pets must be kept on a leash at all times unless they are in the dog park. No pets are to be left unattended, tied or caged outside of your camper or cabin.

Swimming Pools

The swimming pools are open from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. During this time the pools are open daily (weather permitting) from 10 am to 8 pm.

Yes, both swimming pools are heated.

Not necessarily. Non-campers can buy season pool passes that are good Monday through Friday (weather permitting). Season pool passes cost $100 for a single person or $200 for a family (2 adults and 3 children).

Fishing

The fishing pond is stocked with bluegill and bass.

The Little Elkhart River that flows along the edge of the campground has good rainbow trout.

Yes, you do need a fishing license to fish in the river.

No, you may not keep the fish from the pond.

Yes, you may keep the fish from the river.

Miscellaneous

No, our pavilions are not available to rent.

Yes. However, there is a $30 Seasonal Registration Fee for any Golf Cart brought on Park Property. A copy of proof of Liability Insurance is also required at time of registration. It must show coverage of $100,000 to $300,000 liability on the policy.

Shipshewana (in the heart of Amish country) is a short 15 minute drive from the campground.
